SALES ENGINEER (DATA/VOICE AND IP PRODUCTS)


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Sales Engineers are part of the sales team and responsible for growing business through sales and support of current and new customers. Sales Engineers support sales staff and agent group during sales process with thorough working knowledge of all products and services represented:
  • CISP Services
  • Buckeye Telesystem Services
  • ATT
  • Time Warner
  • Level3
  • Sprint (cell phone sales)
  • ATT (cell phone sales)

Support of agents in these products.

Support includes, but is not limited to, order provisioning and related administrative tasks including contract generation, accounting and billing information, carrier support and support escalation, acting as support liaison during sales calls with other CISP sales reps, as requested, and review of monthly commission statements.

Managing Agent Program

Education and Experience Required:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two years experience in sales or support in a voice or IP environment

SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform network planning, designing, implementation, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain the health and availability of the internal production, customer VMware, WAN Point-to-Point, and VoIP networks
  • Work with vendors on evaluating new products and provide recommendations
  • Manage network-related projects, activities and tasks
  • Document network topologies, IP allocation, and network designs
  • Mentor Junior level network engineers

Qualifications:
  • 5-7+ years of experience in networking
  • Experience with Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, load balancers
  • Experience with advanced IP routing protocols – OSPF, BGP, EIGRP/IGRP
  • Experience with LAN switching protocols
  • Experience with WAN switching protocols – MPLS
  • Experience with carrier-level and point-to-point circuits
  • Experience with Quality of Service and Voice over IP
  • Experience with Datacenter design and networking concepts
  • Experience with wireless technologies and security protocols
  • Experience in building scalable, fault tolerant infrastructure
  • Experience with network management and troubleshooting tools
  • Experience with VMware networks
  • Experience with *nix and scripting a plus
  • Experience with TACACTS, cacti, RANCID, and nagios a plus
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization

Education & Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Cisco CCNP or above

JR NETWORK ENGINEER



The detail oriented person in this position is responsible for effective provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, and maintenance of network and related infrastructure. This individual ensures that proper procedures are followed and requests are fulfilled for their area of responsibility.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Monitoring and maintaining internal and customer network environments
  • Providing network troubleshooting assistance
  • Producing network diagrams and detailed documentation
  • Emergency response to technical issues as needed
  • Security/vulnerability assessments

Personal attributes:
  • Ability to be a team player
  • Strong written and oral skills
  • Strong problem solving skills

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Cisco Enterprise class switches, routers, WAPs and firewalls
  • Knowledge of IP routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
  • VoIP design and implementation experience is helpful.
  • Knowledge of VLAN implementation
  • Knowledge of network security
  • Knowledge of Cisco ASA’s
  • General best practices for maintaining network functionality.
  • Knowledge of various monitoring technologies and tools – Nagios/Cacti/Rancid

Education and Experience:
  • CCNA Certification
  • 2+ Years relevant experience
